Resource Management Centres established in Bahawalpur for digitising police’ data

LAHORE: For better welfare of Punjab police and effective utilisation of equipments by the force, Resource Management Centres (RMC) have been established in all districts across the province.

By these centres, not only uniforms of officials, weapons and all other equipment of force have been digitised but also these RMCs have been integrated with each other through centralised softwares so that police may utilise these resources carefully. These views were expressed by Inspector General (IG) Punjab Amjad Javed Saleemi during inauguration of RMC at Bahawalpur Police Lines on Saturday. IG Punjab said that protection of property and lives of people, maintenance of law and order is the prime responsibility of the police for which their best training and welfare is my top priority and officers should utilise all resources for the force so that officials may not feel any difficulty during their professional duties. The IG emphasised upon officers to complete training workshops and refresher courses programmes so that it may enhance efficiency of the force and also make arrangements regarding provision of healthy food and residence at police lines. IG Punjab directed to improve quality of food for officials while visiting police mess. IG Punjab Amjad Javed Saleemi praised Bahawalpur District Police Officer (DPO) for making best arrangements. Bahawalpur Regional Police Officer Imran Mahmood, Bahawalpur DPO Ameer Taimur Khan, Rahimyar Khan DPO Umar Salamat and Bahawalnagar DPO Ammara Athar were also present on the occasion.
