The authority was also appraised on progress regarding registration of companies for TAM services, as per TAM Regulations 2018.
It was briefed that out of 10 companies that have applied and five companies have been provisionally registered with PEMRA so far.
PEMRA Chairman Muhammad Salim Baig presided over the meeting while Information & Broadcasting Shafqat Jalil, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority Muhammad Naveed and other members including Nargis Nasir, Member Punjab, Shaheen Habibullah, Member Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sarfaraz Khan Jatoi Member Sindh and PEMRA Executive Member Ashfaq Jumani were also present in the meeting.
