The Supreme Court on Monday, summoned federal ministers Asad Umar, Faisal Vawda and Khusro Bakhtiar before the court in the case about construction of Nai Gaj Dam in Dadu district of Sindh.
A three-member bench of the apex court led by Chief Justice Saqib Nisar heard the case with regard to lack of funds in the construction of the dam, which has delayed.
The petitioner informed the court that the PC-1 for the Nai Gaj Dam was submitted but funds for the project not released.
“The Executive Committee of National Economic Council has yet to give nod for the project,” the petitioner told the court.
