Children’s parks needed

Author: Daily Times

Sir: Unfortunately, there is no entertainment facility for children. Due to lack of positive activities, several types of negative thoughts come in their minds. They are not guided properly on how to spend their free time positively while having some enjoyment. Similarly, children can be saved from adopting bad habits, but it needs positive decisions at the right time. In this regard, children’s parks can be a solution to engage children so that they could enjoy their free time in a positive manner. Shockingly, funds comprising billions of rupees are allocated to build children’s parks, but due to the corruption of the concerned departments and the government’s apathy, no one knows where all the money is used. Nonetheless, due to the absence of such parks, the children indulge in bad habits. Since parents cannot monitor their activities all the time, they end up falling victim to bad company and enticed to commit crimes. The government needs to pay attention to this issue.
