73 Hindus get govt’s Holi aid

Bahawalpur: Financial assistance cheques to the tune of three lac rupees and 65 thousand among 73 deserving members of the Hindu community were distributed under the Holi package of the Punjab government. Provincial Minister for cooperative Malik Iqbal Channar and Fouzia Ayoub Qureshi MPA was the Chief Guest of cheque distributing ceremony held at canal colony. Malik Iqbal Channar paid rich tribute to the splendid and glorious service of Hindu community to make Pakistan a truly progressive and liberal state in the light of the policy guide lines of our founding fathers.
