SC sets date for amendment to NAB law

The Supreme Court (SC) on Thursday set the date for the amendment in the “National Accountability Bureau (NAB) plea bargain law”.

Justice Azmat Sayed resumed the hearing of “suo motu notice” and said that the “plea bargain law of NAB” should be amended till February 2019 otherwise the court had right to set aside the law.

Faroq Nayek told the court that the “parliamentary committee” engages to amend the law, however, some more time is for amendment of the law.
