Sajal, Adnan all set for Indian movie ‘Mom’

MUMBAI: Pakistani celebrities Adnan Siddiqui and Sajal Aly are all set to perform in Indian movie Mom, alongside Sridevi.

According to sources, it is confirmed that Adnan and Sajal’s visa has been issued. The two will be flying to India in February to shoot the climax scene and a song.

The Mom movie team stated, “It’s been about four months since the team has been waiting to wrap up the final schedule. In September, following the Uri attacks and the surgical strikes, Sajal and Adnan’s visas were rejected several times. Now they have obtained a visa for a month and will be flying to Delhi to shoot the final scenes and a song in February. The team is planning to wrap up the schedule by February 14 and release the film by May this year.”

Getting their visas issued wasn’t easy.

Zindagy Kitni Haseen Hai actress will be playing the step daughter role while the Mighty Heart actor Adnan is set to play the role of Sridevi’s husband in the movie.

Lead antagonist in the movie, Vikas Verma added, “Yes, they (Sajal and Adnan) are required for the final scenes and have finally got a visa for a month to complete the shoot. It’s a very important scene and we have been looking forward to film.”

The movie Mom revolves around the conflict between a step mom and her 18 years old daughter. Boney Kapoor and Sridevi are the producers of the movie.
