Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Murad Saeed was sworn in as a member of the federal cabinet on Monday.
The oath-taking ceremony was administered by President Dr Arif Alvi.
With his induction, the strength of the federal cabinet members has reached 38. There are 24 federal ministers, five state ministers, four advisers to the Prime Minister and four special assistants.
The decision to induct Saeed as a federal minister was taken apparently in view of his performance as state minister for communications and postal services during the first 100 days of the PTI government.
