Health and welfare of police force our top priority: IG Punjab

Welfare and health of the force is our top priority as it can guarantee to have professional fighters who remain alert round the clock to eliminate crimes and to protect human life and property.

This was stated by Inspector General Police Punjab Amjad Javed Saleemi while inaugurating the renovated mess and residential rooms at Qurban Police Lines on Thursday.

Additional IGP Welfare & Finance Rao Sardar, Additional IGP Investigation Abubakar Khuda Bukhsh, Additional IGP CTD Rai Muhammad Tahir, Deputy Inspector General Telecommunication Shahid Javaid, DIG Research & Development Faisal Ali Rana, Senior Superintendent Police MT Azhar Akram, SSP Telecommunication Mansoorul Haq, AIG development, Ahsan Younas and other senior officers were also present at this occasion.

The IGP said that the renovation work will be completed within two weeks across Punjab. IGP directed the officers of Qurban Lines to pay special attention to the welfare of the force as they are like our family members who perform their duties 24/7 and no negligence in this regard will be accepted.

Rao Sardar briefed the IGP Punjab that funds required for beautification of all police lines have been provided and this process will be completed within given time.
