SHIKARPUR: Pakistan People’s Party will never allow any anti-democratic element to derail the democratic system restored after the sacrifices made by the party leaders and workers, therefore the opposition should play its constructive role for the promotion of democracy and economic stability in the larger interests of the people. This was stated by PPP MNA Aftab Shahban Mirani while talking to journalists at his residence here on Monday. He said the country is now back on track of democracy under the leadership of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. Replying to a question about sanitation problems in the city, Mirani said that under the Chief Minister’s City Package Scheme Rs 500 million has been sanctioned for improvement of the drainage and cleanliness in Shikarpur.
