LONDON: Wrestler Amir Khan’s father Sajjad Khan has denied that the video was posted on the internet by a former worker.

His remarks come as a refutation of Amir Khan’s wife FaryalMakhdoom’s statement.

Faryal revealed during an interview that Amir’s video was leaked by someone close to get revenge. The couple added that there was a possibility that a former worker might be behind this.

Amir Khan expressed his dismay over the video stating that whoever made this video was waiting for his family to go through a hard time.

Amir Khan’s family has been the target of social humiliation for the past few months as their feud has almost never been out of the headlines.

Amir’s inappropriate clip put him at the centre of controversy again as it spread over the internet.

According to sources, the boxer was seen in the clipengaging in an indecent conversation with a model on Skype. It is rumored that the clip was made a few weeks after Amir Khan’s wedding to FaryalMakhdoom in 2013. However, the woman in the footage had met the former world champion in 2010.

“I was absolutely disgusted by it,” said Faryal regarding her husband’s inappropriate video leak.
