SHEIKHPURA/SAHIWAL: At least seven people died and 18 injured after road accidents in Sheikhpura and Sahiwal areas on Friday night.
According to details, a rickshaw collided with an oil tanker on Sargodha Road in Shiekhpura, killing a man and his wife along with four others. One person was seriously injured in the incidents, rescue sources reported.

The dead bodies and injured people were shifted to nearby hospital in Shiekhpura area.

On the other hand, a passenger bus crashed into an oil tanker near Chichawatni bypass in Sahiwal area, killing at least three people including two women and injuring 17 others.
The accident happened due to drivers negligence as the bus was travelling from Multan to Lahore, the rescue officials stated.
