Finance Minister Asad Umar says government is striving hard to provide facilities to the business community and simplification of tax procedures is one of them.
He was talking to a delegation of Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industries (KCCI) in Islamabad.
The Finance Minister said tax related matters would be accorded due consideration by FBR in the light of relevant rules and to be resolved to the extent possible.
The delegation discussed their concern that supply of gas to different industries and related issues.
Petroleum Minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan and Minister of state for Revenue, Hammad Azhar were also present on the occasion.
