Chicken plan

Author: Daily Times

Sir: In the recent speech to the nation, Prime Minister Imran Khan talked about giving chickens to poor households to combat poverty. Unfortunately, many people criticised him for this. But, actually it would be proved to be a great step to lift poor people out of poverty.

Recently, a well known personality, Bill Gates said he would distribute 100,000 chickens among poor people of different countries to bring them out of poverty. Like prime minister imran Khan, he said it is the cheap and easy way to earn livelihood.

As owner 0f 8 to 10 chickens can yield flock of 40 chicks, because chickens are multiplying on an ongoing basis. Besides that, it also empowers women to take active entrepreneurial roles in their community. As Chickens are almost entirely a women’s activity, it involves being around the household. ..

Imran khan should be appreciated for talking about the well-being of common people
