ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Wednesday called on Prime Minister Imran Khan at Prime Minister’s House and discussed national security of the country.
During the meeting, both the leaders discussed national security of the country among other affairs. Besides national security, COAS and Prime Minister also discussed professional affairs of the military.
Prime Minister and COAS also briefly discussed National Action Plan (NAP) and matters relating to ongoing anti-terrorism operations.
The progress with regard to Financial Action Task Force (FATF) requirements also came under discussion at the meeting, they said.
The two leaders also exchanges the views about the visit of US special envoy Zalmay Khalilzad to Islamabad and Afghan peace process, the sources added.
