Famed Australian DJ ‘What So Not’ to rock the capital on December 16!

Post the hype and success of the Mad Decent Block Party that took place in the capital in February earlier this year, the stage is now set for the second edition of the platform, this time titled December Fest all set to take place on December 16, 2018.

The concert aims to reunite electronic music lovers from all over Pakistan. Can we expect a night of epic music and dancing with incredible line up of big names in the music industry and of course the touch of your local talents? We will just have to wait and find out.

The event titled December Fest is bringing in some rich music to Pakistan by teaming up local and international musicians in the capital. From what we hear, is that the music festival has something beyond to offer apart from the pleasant voices to be heard. Other than the concert, there will be indulging cultural stalls, food stalls, bonfires and games. Black Box Sound, FM91 and Catalyst Public Relations are the brains behind holding the event. This particular trio has joined hands to make the December Fest the ‘it’ event of the year in Islamabad keeping its attendee’s hungry for a night of incredible music and epic dancing. What is more enthralling about the night is the Black Box sound – that will absolutely hit the core; completely surrounding you with its magical beats.

Of course, the highlight of the event is that famed Australian electronic music DJ What So Not will be making his presence felt during the event with all his chart toppers.

Renowned musicians Omar Adil and Talal Qureshi will also be performing

What So Not is an electronic music project by Australian record producer Emoh Instead and formerly a duo with record producer Flume. What So Not has toured the world, playing in various festivals, including Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, Pukkelpop, Ultra Music Festival and Lollapalooza. What So Not is best known for his hits such as “Gemini”, “Jaguar”, “High You Are” and “Tell Me”. He has featured on charts such as the Australian Singles Chart, Triple J Hottest 100 and iTunes Electronic chart. He released his debut album titled ‘Not All the Beautiful Things’ on March 9.

Not only that, various other international artists will be making their way to December Fest to participate in the platform for as far as music fests go.

Renowned musician Omar Adil who is a rapper, a record producer and a songwriter, based in Islamabad will be performing. Talal Qureshi known for his unique production style, one-of-a-kind tracks, atmospheric and melodic songs that strike a chord with human emotions will also perform.

International artists such as Chrome Sparks, Gavin DC and DJ Maleo are also expected to perform. From the Pakistani front, we have names to be excited about such as SNKM, Stupid Happiness Theory by Natasha Humera Ejaz, DJ Barrister, Turhan James and Jamal Cares & One Cub B2B.
