When I got bored with my routine,
It offered me
A day at the beach
Amusements are spread,
All over the world
But who said,
They fascinate us all?
It is a misconception
The waves were so incredible,
So unique, yet so similar
They were flowing so independently.
Coming towards me,
Charged with dignity
But when the devil,
Corrupted my mind,
They seemed like the villain
Of a story,
Coming to kill,
Intending for destruction
But then when in my right mind.
They appeared like some angel,
Rushing to save me
From a world full of hate
A world full of all negativities
Where the evil-doers
Do not stop for sleep
Where the devil,
Is always available
I felt they were,
Coming to embrace me
They could capture people too,
And kidnap them
But for those
Who are done with life,
The waves act as rescuers,
From the tyrannies of this world.
My heart instructed me to,
Spend my days and nights
Hearing their silent,
Yet such loud screams
The waves,
That took my breath away,
That made me pick my pen
Hence, I shall question thee
That who is lucky?
Is it me?
Who was blessed enough?
To allow the waves to move her?
But I know
That these waves,
Are a sign of my Lord
The way they lash
Break against the rocks
The way their sound
Horrifies, so many,
This is His Magnificence
Therefore we all shall thank Him,
For providing us with such incomparable beauty
