The schools which do not comply with the court order will be tried for contempt of court, the order strictly warned.
The order also asked the private schools to halt the practice of collecting three month fees in one go.
The Sindh high court (SHC) also demanded that the private schools submit in the SHC all the financial documentation they had previously submitted to the Registrar of the Supreme court.
A case pertaining to more than five percent increase in fees of private schools is being heard in the SHC by a three-member bench headed by Justice Aqeel Ahmed Abbasi.
The court issued strict directives to administrations of the private schools to comply with the orders till the next hearning.
Justice Aqeel Ahmed Abbasi rebuked the lawyer of the private schools saying that the case has been ongoing since over a decade and had the court enforced an older fee structure the schools would have suffered financially, hence the court has ordered that the private schools go back to the pre 2017 fee structures.
