Prime Minister Imran Khan has extended greetings to the leadership of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on the occasion of its 47th National Day on Sunday.
In a letter addressed to the UAE leadership, the prime minister noted that within a short span of 47 years, the Emirates has become a model of development, prosperity and good governance which manifests the farsightedness and vision of the country’s leadership, PM Office said in a press release.
Imran Khan said Pakistan and the UAE enjoyed brotherly ties with immense bilateral cooperation. “It is satisfactory that under the leadership of the two countries, the bilateral relations have strengthened in all spheres turning them into strategic economic partnership,” the letter read, adding that ties between the two countries were based on mutual support and cooperation and will further strengthen in future.
The prime minister conveyed good wishes from the government and people of Pakistan for the progress and prosperity of the UAE and its people. Last month, Prime Minister Imran Khan made his second visit to the UAE after assuming the office. During the visit, the leaderships of the two counties resolved to strengthen bilateral trade and economic ties, besides fostering cooperation to deal with transnational organised crime, including money laundering and drug and human trafficking.
