Bilawal, Zardari to address on PPP’s Foundation Day in Sukkur today

SUKKUR: The Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) on friday is observing it’s 51st Foundation Day (Youm-e-Tasees) across the country.

According to details, the PPP’s foundation day’s main event will be held in Sukkur, Sindh. The Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari will address the gathering today.

PPP’s Punjab General Secretary Chaudhry Manzoor informed the media that the party workers from all the provinces as well as Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan will also attend the ceremony.

He further said that a committee had been already formed by the PPP chairman in order to make arrangements for the occasion.

“Bilawal will also talk about the party’s future political strategy and discuss the failure of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) government’s 100-day agenda”, the PPP’s Punjab general secretary added.

The PPP was launched on November in 1967 at a convention in Lahore and Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was elected as its first chairman.
