SFJ announces to hold Kartarpur Sahib Convention in Pakistan

Pro-Khalistan advocacy group “Sikhs For Justice” (SFJ) announced to hold “Kartarpur Sahib Convention – 2019” in Pakistan during 550th birth anniversary celebrations of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

In a statement issued from its New York headquarters, SFJ legal advisor Gurpatwant Singh Pannun announced to open voter registration from Kartarpur Sahib, Pakistan in November 2019 when hundreds of thousands of Sikhs from more than 30 countries will be visiting Gurdwara where Sri Guru Nanak spent last eighteen years of his life. “SFJ through its office in Lahore will coordinate the registration of voters and will provide information on referendum to the Sikhs of Indian occupied Punjab who will be visiting Kartarpur Sahib during 550th birth celebrations of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, said Mr Pannun.

Terming Kartarpur Sahib Corridor as “Bridge To Khalistan” SFJ legal advisor attorney Pannun stated “Kartarpur Sahib Convention is pivotal to referendum campaign as this will be the first ever global gathering of the Sikh separatists from foreign countries with the Sikh people from Punjab”. “During the Convention SFJ will hold “study circles” to educate and train the participants for the referendum process”.

During “Kartarpur Sahib Convention” SFJ will sponsor and host 10,000 Sikhs from Punjab who will be educated and informed about Sikhs’ right to self-determination under the UN Charter and Conventions, who will then serve as “Rerendum2020” ambassadors in Punjab and will be equipped to propagate independence campaign peacefully and democratically.

SFJ in its London Declaration, has announced to hold the first ever non-binding referendum among the global Sikh community on the question of secession from India and reestablishing Punjab as an independent country. In November 2020, SFJ announced to hold the polling for referendum the polling will be held in major cities of North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Kenya and the Middle Eastern Countries and Indian governed Punjab.
