SIALKOT: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday laid foundation of a women university in Sialkot here on Wednesday.

The Prime Minister while addressing the ceremony said that only those nations progress which place due importance on education.

“The more amount of money is spent on education, the more a nation progresses,” said the prime minister.

The PM lamented that it is a shame that this is the first university in Sialkot and this is the only reason why Pakistan lagged behind in the world.

PM Imran urged students to proceed towards the field of Information Technology.

He expressed grief that wherever I go, vice-chancellors said that they do not have funds.

The prime minister said that it will be a priority of the government to allocate major funds to education and its promotion.
