WC chairman visits Dadu, orders relocation of drainage disposal ponds

Water Commission (WC) chairman, Justice (r) Amir Hani Muslim visited drainage disposal units in police headquarters and other parts of Dadu on Saturday.

Justice (r) Amir Hani Muslim also visited the embankments of Dadu canal and saw the drainage disposal mechanism there. He expressed his displeasure at waste flowing into the Dadu canal and issued directives to Municipal committee chairman Ghulam Mustafa Birohi to stop releasing sewerage and human waste into the canal.

WC chair Justice (r) Amir Hani Muslim also visited the under construction drainage disposal ponds located near Dadu and directed PHE engineer Nazeer Ahmed Shaikh and chairman municipal committee Ghulam Mustafa Birohi to halt payment to the contractor. He directed them to shift the ponds to another spot since IBA college and district headquarter hospitals were under construction near them.

He was accompanied by Session Judge Jamsheed Ahmed Awan, Dadu Deputy Commissioner Raja Shahzaman Khuhro, and municipal committee chairman Ghulam Mustafa Birohi, PHE engineer Nazeer Ahmed Shaikh and other relevant officials.
