LAHORE: An agreement has been signed for setting up a solar power plant at the Quaid-i-Azam Solar Park, Bahawalpur between the Punjab government and the Turkish Power Company Zorlu Enerji Holding.
The plant will provide cheaper electricity to the people and is expected to be established in the next six months and will provide 100 megawatts of energy.
Shahbaz Sharif said that the provincial government is hopeful to benefit in the energy sector from the expertise of the Turkish company.
