7342 police officials deployed in Larkana division on Eid-Milad Nabi

LARKANA: 7342 police officers and officials will be deployed during the processions, rallies and Mehfils in Larkana division on the occasion of Eid-Milad Nabi, says police officials.

According to the security plan issued by Javed Akbar Riaz, deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGP) of Larkana division, states that as many as 25 processions and rallies will be organized in Kambar-Shahdadkot district, 21 in Shikarpur, 34 in Jacobabad, 18 in Kashmore and 23 in Larkana.

The notification further says that 1190 cops will be deployed to provide security in Larkana district, 1519 in Kambar-Shahdadkot, 1020 in Shikarpur, 947 in Jacobabad and 2666 in Kashmore. The army and rangers will also be present on the special occasion.

Additional police pickets have been established along bordering areas of Balochistan at Kashmore, Jacobabad and Kambar-Shahdadkot districts and patrolling has been intensified along with snap checking.

All the processions and rallies will be monitored through CCTV cameras in the Larkana division. Moreover, monitoring rooms have been established at all the districts along with the special monitoring cell at DIGP office which will also ensure smooth flow of traffic.

Javed Akbar Riaz stated on the occasion that law & order will be maintained at all costs in the holy month of Rabi-ul-Awal.
