The Byco Petroleum Pakistan Limited Saturday announced to sponsor DHA’s International Squash Championship Trophy to be held from 20th to 24th November at the Defence Housing Authority Creek Club in Karachi.
The trophy is coming to Pakistan after a gap of 13 years which signals the return of international sports to the country. Male and female delegates from 17 countries including Pakistan, US, Canada, Australia, and the Middle East will compete at the recently revamped Asif Nawaz Squash Complex at Creek Club.
Azfar Saeed Baig, Vice President Byco Petroleum Pakistan Limited, said on the occasion, “Byco enthusiastically sponsors the 2018 DHA International Squash Championship Cup. We believe in supporting healthy activities including sports and are glad that this tournament has returned to Pakistan after a long gap signifying the return of international sports to the nation.”
The three-side glass wall championship court will have a seating capacity of 650 spectators and a new wooden floor has been laid for the matches. Furthermore, two of the four courts will be used for practice while the other two for the tournament.
