PM Imran Khan to pay second official visit to UAE tomorrow

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan would pay one day official visit to United Arab Emirates (UAE) on November 18, (Sunday) to meet top leadership of the UAE at Abu Dhabi for talks on the strategic matters between the two countries.

Dr Muhammad Faisal told Daily Times that Prime Minister is visiting UAE at the Invitation of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed bin Sultan AlNehyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of UAE’s Armed Forces.

The Prime Minister will be accompanied by Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Finance, Petroleum, Power and Adviser to the Prime Minister on Commerce.

During his talks with UAE leadership matters of bilateral, regional and global interest will be discussed. Sources further said a reasonable economic package is expected to be given to Pakistan during the visit beside pledges for investment in Pakistan by UAE companies and leadership.

The sudden visit of the Prime Minister Imran Khan to UAE is taking place after Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi held in depth discussion with his UAE counterpart the other day on the side lines of annual Sir Bani Yas Forum. This would be the second official visit of the Prime Minister Imran Khan to UAE within last three months.
