FM Qureshi meets UAE’s counterpart to discuss regional issues in Abu Dhabi

ABU DHABI: Foreign Minister (FM) Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Saturday met his UAE counterpart Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi.

Foreign Office (FO) spokesperson Dr Mohammad Faisal said  via tweet that the foreign minister of two countries discussed bilateral cooperation and regional issues of mutual interest.

FM Qureshi is currently in UAE to attend the 9th Sir Bani Yas Forum where issues related to Middle East and efforts to bring peace in the region are being discussed.

On November 16, FO spokesperson said that FM would inform the participants of the forum on Pakistan’s position on the Middle East.

The foreign minister is also expected to meet other officials as well during his stay.
