Pakistan out of Women’s World T20

The journey for Pakistan Women’s Cricket team ended in the World T20 as they lose to New Zealand.

New Zealand batting first scored a total of 144 for the loss of 6 wickets. Sophie Devine scored 32 in 31 balls with Suzie Bates adding 35 in 31 balls. Sana Mir and Aliya Riaz picked up two wickets each.

In return, Pakistan team were all out for 90 runs in 18 overs. Javeria Khan scored 36 off 23 balls while Amelia Kerr and Jess Watkin picked three wickets each.

On the other hand, Indian Women team have made it to the semifinals after a massive victory against Ireland. Ireland team was limited to 93-8 in response to a big total of 145-6 by Indian team. Mithali Raj was the star of the show after getting her second half century in a row.

India will face Australia on Saturday in the semifinals.
