Foreign Minister Shah Mehmmod Qureshi left Islamabad for Dubai to attend 9th meeting of Sir Bani Yas forum scheduled for 16th and 17th November in the island of Sir bani yas of Abdu Dhabi.
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi would address the forum where he would high light the reforms agenda of his government and Pakistan’s perspective on key issues confronting the region including political conflicts.
The annual high-level retreat, which is the initiative of Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister of the UAE, is being hosted by the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Foreign Minister would also hold meetings on the sidelines of the forum with other leaders attending the forum. The aim of the Forum is to create a space for action-oriented discussions among leading policy and opinion-makers about critical issues for peace and security in the Middle East.

Current and former foreign ministers from the Middle East, Europe, Africa, the Americas, and Asia, as well as a select number of international policy experts and business leaders, have been invited in the forum to share their knowledge and understanding of emerging geopolitical challenges in the Middle East, and to discuss approaches for resolving them.
