Police arrest 37 criminals, recover drugs, alcohol

Police have arrested 37 outlaws including 19 drug peddlers and recovered narcotics and wine from them, a police spokesman said on Thursday.

Aabpar police arrested accused Amir Masih and recovered 200 grammes of hashish from him while Crime Investigation Agency nabbed Imran Masih and recovered 290 grammes of hash and 10 gramme of heroin from him.

Secretariat police arrested Waqar and recovered 1,040 grammes of hash from him while Kohsar police arrested James Masih along with Yasir Mahmood and recovered 250 grammes of heroin and 315 grammes of hash from their possession respectively.

Bhara Kahu police arrested Daniyal, Khurshid, Shahzad and Abdul Aziz for possessing 2.60 kilogramme of hash, 320 gramme of heroin and eight bottles of alcohol respectively. Shalimar police arrested Amin Abbas and recovered 13 wine bottles from him.

Shams Colony police held Mufakir Hayat, Latif and Kamran and recovered a total of 800 gramme of hash from their possession. Koral police recovered one 30 bore pistol from Yasir Ishfaq.

Nilore police arrested Tahir Rizwan and recovered 220 gramme of hash from him. Karachi Company police arrested Khurram for possessing 350 grammes of hash and Golra police held Zulfiqar, Zarmeen Masih and Zahid Khan besides recovering 160 grammes of heroin, 1.30 kilogramme of hash and one 30 bore pistol from them respectively.
