LAHORE: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders Khawaja Saad Rafique and his brother Salman Rafique will appear before the court to seek extension in their interim bail in Paragon Housing Society scandal as it expires today.

Previously, the Lahore High Court (LHC) extended the protective bail of the PML-N leaders by 15 day on October 24 which has ended today.

However, Khawaja Saad’s counsel Azam Tarar has submitted an exemption plea as he is not in Pakistan whereas his brother Salman’s lawyer Amjad Pervez will also not be able to appear before the court due to his schedule in Islamabad.

Both the lawyers have submitted a petition to suspend the court proceedings for today.

The national accountability Bureau (NAB) is investigating the Paragon Housing society and Ashiana-i-Iqbal against Khawaja brothers.
