IMF and CPEC

Author: Daily Times

Sir: Pakistan needs a huge loan in its recent days but IMF conditions to gain information about CPEC in order to work over the loan. Now, Pakistan either takes a loan from its allies, China, USA and Saudi Arabia or accepts the conditions of IMF.

It seems like Pakistan has fallen into hot water. However, the Fiance Minister, Asad says that Pakistan will never accept IMF’s conditions until they are favorable to the terms of Pakistan. But concerns claim that the geopolitical situations of Pakistan are not so much strong so instead taking loans from its allies it has to take the granted terms of IMF.

In case Pakistan agrees to the conditions of IMF it will either be useful for CPEC or it will kill CPEC. Besides this, Pakistan has also geopolitical problems for CPEC as it goes through the area of Kashmir which India claims as hers. So, now the PM of Pakistan needs to find for ways for its country which will turn it into a Naya Pakistan.
