Through a notification STEVTA/Admn(S-II)/PF/065, the Sindh government repatriated all the officials who were working on cadre posts.

Karim Bux Siddiqui did B.A from the University of Sindh in 1982-1984 and completed Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Mechanical Technology in 1973-1977 from Government Polytechnic College, Wahdat Colony, Hyderabad. Later, he joined the government of Sindh as technical teacher in early eighties.

Karim Bux Sidduqi got postings in Directorate of Labour and Manpower from 1992 to 1996 instead of teaching students. Then he was made Managing Director of the Stevta in March, 2006 and remained there till September 2008. Later, he was made Executive District Officer (F&P), Jamshoro district from June, 2008 to June, 2009. Then he was made Secretary Benazir Bhutto Shaheed – Human Resource Research Development from February, 2014 to November, 2015.

He was posted as Provincial Coordinator to Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Youth Development Program (BBSYDP) in June 2009 and remained there for more than five years.

Moreover, the Sindh government posted him as Chairman Sindh Trade Testing Board (BS-19) in November and he was directed to report to his parent department. However, within a few days he got his new posting as Director Administration BS-20.

When contacted, Karim Bux Siddiqui told Daily Times that his bosses were not happy with him and insisted to continue as Chairman Sindh Trade Testing Board before the new posting.
