PESHAWAR: The Peshawar police on Friday arrested a three-member gang for printing fake Pakistani currency notes.
According to the details, the police raided a warehouse located near Ring Road and seized Rs60 million in fake currency.
SSP Operations Javed Iqbal informed reporters during a news conference that during the raid at the warehouse a counterfeit money printing machine was also seized, while three accused were arrested.
The police official said the three accused had plans to print an additional Rs90 million in fake currency denomination of Rs5,000, Rs1,000 and Rs500.
