A soldier embraced martyrdom in unprovoked firing by Indian security forces along the Line of Control (LoC), the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Thursday.

According to the ISPR, Sepoy Zaheer Ahmed was martyred in Thub Sector of LoC due to unprovoked firing by Indian troops. He belonged to Sultanpur village of the Bhimber district and is survived by a widow.
