Police arrest ten suspects involved in street crime, drug peddling

The police claimed that they arrested ten suspects allegedly involved in drug peddling and street crime during separate raids conducted in different areas of the metropolis on Wednesday.

Police said that operations were conducted against suspected outlaws in Korangi, Sultanabad, Talib Colony Liaqatabad, Saudabad, Sohrab Goth and Paposh Nagar. During the raids, ten outlaws were arrested and three pistols, a gun, a large cache of drugs and two snatched motorcycles were recovered from their custody. Police also claimed that they seized over 100 kilograms of contaminated meat from a slaughterhouse in Saudabad police station’sremits. The police confiscated the recovered arms and drugs, impounded the bikes and registered separate cases against the suspects at relevant police stations. Investigation is underway.
