CJP takes sou motto over girl’s torture

ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar has taken notice of a case of a nine-year-old girl set ablaze.

50 per cent of her body was burnt, and was admitted to burn centre in at Rawalpindi’s Holy Family Hospital, where doctors described her condition as critical.

Taking notice of the issue, the CJP directed Rawalpindi Regional Police Officer and Rawalpindi District Health Officer, to submit report within 48 hours.
