Chief Secretary Sindh Mumtaz Ali Shah has asked the Sindh Technical Education & Vocational Training Authority (STEVTA) to streamline its functionality by maintaining the quality assurance and strengthening the institutional frame work.
He expressed these view while presiding a briefing session of STEVTA here on Monday. Secretary B&U (Boards and Universities) Dr. Alya Shahid, Secretary Coordination Ghulam Mujtaba Joyo, Managing Director STEVTA Nasir Iqbal Malik and other officers, attended.
The Chief Secretary categorically noted that the effective communication must be undertaken to motivate the industrialist and traders to take the services of engineers and technical experts of STEVTA, for quality production and boosting the economy.
He maintained that capacity building of STEVTA should be enhanced to achieve the result oriented goals, aimed at providing the reasonable employment opportunities to our well educated and trained youth on large scale.
Earlier, MD Nasir Iqbal Malik briefed the meeting regarding the activities of STEVTA, through its institutes located all over the Sindh Province.
