MARDAN: The department of Pushto, Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM) on Monday held a one day seminar to honourlate Dr Khaliq Zyar, a famous poet and philosopher of Pushto language and literature.
Famous Poets Dr Israr, Rehmat Shah Sail, teaching faculty official ofthe university Dr Sohail Khan, Dr Nasrullah Khan, Dr Nasrullah Khan Majnun, Dr Zafarullah Bakhshali, Mahaz Bacha, Syed Afzal Shah andstudents from different colleges and universities were also present inthe seminar. The participants of the reference praised Dr KahliqZyar andremembered him as an important digit of Pushto Poetry.
Speaking to the participants of the seminar the speaker shed lights onthe life and service of late Dr, Khaliq Ziar and said that he wasa man of humanistic pragmatic approach. Remat Shah Sail said that he was a genuine philosopher of Pushto literature and was a good companion of Abdul Wali Khan.
