A man was killed while another injured during a firing incident outside Benazir Bhutto Hospital. The deceased and injured were moved to BBH for autopsy and medical treatment.
A police officer said that a clash was going on between two groups outside the hospital on some domestic dispute when a group opened firing on opponents killing and man on the spot and injuring the other.
The names of the victims could not be assetained by police, he said. SHO PS Waris Khan inspected the crime scene and collected evidence. A case was registered against the accused while further investigation was underway, he said.
A lady namely Shazia Aleem, who was along the victims, while talking to the media, blamed her ex-husband Khizar Hayat and his brother shot dead her father and injured a taxi driver.
