GWADAR: Five labourers were killed on Wednesday night by unidentified persons. The incident occurred when labourers were working in Jiwani area of the port city of Gwadar.
According to Levies officials, the labourers were busy working at the construction site of a private housing scheme in Ganz neighbourhood of Jiwani when they were shot dead by the suspects, who fled immediately.
Three other labourers were injured in the incident, the officials added.
The deceased and the injured belonged to Karachi, Sukkur, Peshawar, and Khuzdar, Levies officials said.
The dead bodies were shifted to Civil Hospital Gwadar and then dispatched to their native towns.
