NAB arrests fraud accused in Haripur

PESHAWAR: The Provincial National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Tuesday arrested accused of fraud cases in Haripur who were Sardar Ghulam Murtaza Tehsildar Hairpur and Mian Muhammad Irfan Patwari Haripur, Raja Muhammad Saeed of Azad Jammu Kashmir and Syed Faran Abbas Manager Operations JS Bank Taxila.

They were involved in cheating public at large and grabbed Rs. 231 millions from making frauds with innocent people. The statement stated that the NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) initiated inquiry against the subject accused persons upon receipt of several complaints.

Any person who has any claims against above mentioned accused persons is requested to submit the claim with relevant documents to Provincial NAB.

The accused persons in connivance with each other swindled hard earned money and properties of innocent members of general public in the garb of fake property business in District Rawalpindi & Haripur.

The accused persons will be produced before the Accountability Court for obtaining their physical custody. They showed high value land at the time of agreement and transferred low value lands at different places after receiving handsome amounts in the form of Cash, Properties & Motor Vehicles.

It merits to mention here that NAB (KP) has already arrested 06 x co-accused including Mehtab Ali Qureshi of Rawalpindi, Bostan Khan of Haripur, Syed Ijaz Hussain Shah of Taxila, Malik Habib of Haripur, & Adil Shokat alias Major Adil alias Adnan Ali Shah of Rawalpindi in the instant case, against whom the reference is under trial in the Court.
