A private company will launch a bus service between Pakistan and China from November 3.
Buses will travel between Lahore and Tashkurgan in China with a two-way ticket priced at Rs 23,000. Passengers will be required to have a valid visa, passport, CNIC and return ticket in order to make the trip.
The bus will depart from Lahore on Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday. From China, the departures days will be Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
The 30-hour journey will begin from Lahore at 12am with stops in Mansehra (breakfast), Besham (lunch), Chilas (Tea) and Gilgit (dinner). There will also be a stop for checking at Khunjerab Pass and the arrival time would be 3pm the next day.
The company offers premium buses and passengers can book their tickets from Lahore, Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
