Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Monday said his party will attend the all parties conference (APC) summoned by Jamiat Ulema Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman on October 31.

The announcement came shortly after Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif and PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari briefly met during the National Assembly session.

After the session, Zardari said there was no update on the issue of APC, while Shehbaz said he will make a statement on the issue after consultations.

Separately, a four-member delegation of the European Parliament Committee on Relations with South Asia called on Bilawal Bhutto here at Zardari House.

Issues of mutual interest, including Pakistan’s compliance of the GSP Pus obligations and core international human rights conventions, freedom of expression and human rights issues, came under discussion during the meeting.
