University in Buner by next month

PESHAWAR: Provincial Minister for Zakat, Usher and Religious Affairs, Habibur Rehman said Tuesday that University of Buner would be fully operational by March with all modern educational facilities to facilitate students.

“The University of Buner was the long awaited demand of people of Buner district that was fulfilled by the present government,” he said, adding work on the building was in full swing that would be completed by March 2017 at Sawari and would be opened for academic activities soon after its completion.

The University is initially spread on 73 kanals and 14 marlas where 12 new academic departments inclu-ding Pharmacy, Electronics, Sociology, English, Economics, Shariah and Law and Education would be started in addition to current ongoing departments of Zoology, Computer Science, Management Sciences and Political Science.
