Call for declaring GT Road within Gujranwala signal free

Pakistan People’s Party Gujranwala Information Secretary Sagheer Butt Saturday said that district administration and traffic police had failed to chalk out a comprehensive traffic plan in the city

Addressing a press conference, he said that there was a dire need of solid steps to streamline traffic flow. He urged authorities concerned to construct more lanes on Grand Trunk Road within city area by using extra land already available at both sides of the road.

Butt said that the Traffic Department and the district administration should declare the GT Road signal-free from Chan da Qilla to Rahwali. Other office-bearers of PPP, including Zulifqar Bhutto, Taimor Dar, Khalid Bajwa, Abdullah Butt were also present.
