MUSCUT: Pakistan will be facing on Malaysia in the semi-final of the Asian Hockey Champions Trophy 2018 at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Muscat on Saturday.
The green shirts have won three of its five matches up till now. They have defeated South Korea, Oman and Malaysia to qualify for the semi-final. Moreover, they lost against arch-rivals India 3-1 and drew against Japan.
However, the Pakistani side will playing without their captain Mohammad Rizwan as he was injured during the last match on October 26.
The match is scheduled to start 8pm Pakistan Standard Time (PST) today. The winning team will face either India or Japan in the final which is on October 28.
The Asian Hockey Champions Trophy 2018 is being held in Oman from October 18 to 28 at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Muscat. A total of six teams are participating which includes Pakistan, India, Malaysia, Japan, South Korea and hosts Oman.
