Bollywood has been full of ups and downs in 2018. Some movies came out and impressed the audience and some of them were not as good as they should have been but there is one actor who has been lucky enough to bring the audience to the theatres. We are referring to Ayushmann Khurrana, who has been all over the place this month with back to back super hits.

Ayushmann is normally known for his movie selection and challenging roles over the years and this October, he came up with back to back hits: ‘Andhadhun’ and ‘Badhaai Ho’.

‘Andhadhun’ was released on October fifth, starring Ayushmann, Radhika Apte and Tabu. The movie was a masterpiece by the director Sriram Raghavan and it totally connected with the people. This low budget film was depending only on the strong script. It’s been 20 days and the film is still running at the box office successfully. The film has managed to collect a total of Rs 58 Cr and already declared as a hit.

Two weeks post the release of ‘Andhadhun,’ Ayushmann came up with another classic film named as ‘Badhaai Ho’ which turned out to perform even better at the box office. Amit Ravindernath Sharma directed this project starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Gajraj Rao, Neena Gupta and Sanya Malhotra. The film did not disappoint the audience at all and impressed the critics as well. In a short run of just 7 days, the movie has gathered almost Rs 61.85 Cr and is expected earn more in the coming days.

One thing has been made very clear by Ayushmann, that the success of the film depends on its content not its budget. And without any doubt, the actor has been the limelight of box office in this month and we all hope that his upcoming projects are as exciting as these two films.
