Govt is putting pressure on NAB, says Bilawal

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Wednesday said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) government is putting pressure on the National Accountability of Bureau (NAB).

While speaking to media outside the Parliament House, Bilawal stated that Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has threaten NAB in a press conference, adding that government should allow NAB to work independently without any pressure.

He also said that hunger and poverty are threats to establishing peaceful relations with the international community and their party has taken revolutionary steps to eradicate hunger.

The PPP chairman further added that they launched Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) and took important steps to make the lives of general public better.

Moreover, he said that Sindh government is currently working with non-government organisations (NGOs) to set up programme to eliminate poverty and has helped more than 600,000 families.
